Early bird registration for youth indoor soccer opens August 12

Early bird registration for Parks & Recreation’s youth indoor soccer (ages 5 to 14) opens Monday, August 12. Early bird registration runs through August 25 and costs $55 + tax. Starting August 26, registration costs increase to $65 + tax. Register online (look under “Youth & Teen”) starting August 12 at 8 a.m.

Scholarships are available; complete the online form to apply. If you have any scholarship questions, contact Recreation Coordinator Amanda Lovejoy at (907) 586-2635 ext. 4156 or amanda.lovejoy@juneau.gov.

The season runs from October through mid-December. Generally, kids will practice one night a week, Monday through Friday between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Games will take place on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

There will be coed and girls divisions for youth ages 5-10 and coed only for ages 11-14. Younger divisions (by age and/or location) may be combined if numbers are low. Kids must turn 5 years old by November 1, 2024, in order to play. Parks & Recreation will not accommodate coach requests.
