CBJ facilities and road closures on August 6

The following CBJ facilities are closed today, Tuesday, August 6:

• Dimond Park Aquatic Center
• Dimond Park Field House
• Mendenhall Valley Public Library

Riverside Drive is closed southbound from Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. A number of side streets and roads in the vicinity of the river are currently closed; conditions will change as water rapidly recedes. Please respect all road closure signs and do not endanger yourself by attempting to drive through floodwaters. Roads will be reopened as soon as it is safe to do so.

Kax̱dig̱oowu Héen Dei (Brotherhood Bridge Trail), the Dimond Park pedestrian bridge, and the Airport Dike Trail (Airport Emergency Vehicle Access Road) also remain closed.

Please stay away from flood-impacted areas for your own safety and to allow response crews to work unobstructed. Your cooperation is deeply appreciated.
