Putu Thamara Puteri, Assistant Adjuster | ABL Jakarta
What do you do at AqualisBraemar LOC?
I am an Assistant Adjuster with ABL in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In my role, I assist the ABL Asia Pacific Adjusting Team in the provision of professional loss adjusting services and in holding technical inspections alongside experienced adjusters. Aside from attending surveys, I also conduct technical document reviews.
Having graduated with a Civil Engineering degree, I started my professional career in the construction industry. I worked initially as a construction project surveyor, where my role also included aspects of quantity surveying and contractual administration. I then worked in project procurement, where I was responsible for the project Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, mainly handling the timely and on budget provision of materials and services for projects under my responsibility.
My background in engineering and contract administration, combined with experience across the construction industry, has helped me considerably in my current role as assistant adjuster.
What excites you the most about our industry?
The thought of doing the same thing day-by-day is too monotonous for me. At AqualisBraemar LOC I have the opportunity to work in a variety of scenarios within the industry, as well as combining a multitude of disciplines in my career. Having the chance to learn new things every day and to visit restricted areas further makes every day exciting. I also have the opportunity to improve my skills in problem solving and data analysis.
What made you join AqualisBraemar LOC?
Having a job that gives me the chance to combine my love for travel and my engineering background…that’s all I wanted – AqualisBraemar LOC gave me that opportunity.
I also enjoy working in team environments – the chance to share ideas with one another is great. The team at AqualisBraemar LOC is willing to help make each of us successful.
What do you do when you are not working?
I love being active and trying new things, such as trying out new sports or going on an adventure. I also enjoy socialising with friends or spending time with family on the weekend.
I love listening to music. Music is like therapy for me and pre-COVID, going to concerts was the best way to enjoy it. At concerts, we can sing along together, dance, and maybe meet new friends. I hope things will get better soon, so concerts can once again take place and we can live our lives to the fullest!
