Registration for summer swim lessons opens May 24

May 17, 2024 – News

Juneau Pools will offer a variety of swim lessons at Dimond Park Aquatic Center and Augustus G. Brown Swimming Pool during the upcoming summer season, including beginner and intermediate lessons for preschool & youth age groups. Registration opens online Friday, May 24 at noon through the Parks & Rec registration catalog (click on the “Juneau Pools” tab). Registrations will not be taken over the phone, in person, or in advance.

Please be aware that swimmers must meet the registration prerequisites to register for any classes beyond Level 1. Swimmers who have not attended a Juneau Pools swim lesson placement session or passed the preceding class within the last six months will not be able to register for upper level classes.

To make sure that as many young swimmers as possible are able to participate during our busy summer season, sign-ups are limited to one class per swimmer at this time.

Juneau Pools will also offer Parent & Tot swim lessons during the summer—stay tuned for more information.
